PURPOSE OF THE JOB

This role will be responsible for various HR functions related to hiring, performance management, onboarding, and compliance. You will contribute significantly to talent acquisition, development, and management, fostering a productive and compliant work environment. This position holder works closely with other departments to ensure that hiring needs are met and that the organization attracts and retains top talent.

 

MAJOR DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties / Responsibilities

1

Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for junior management staff up to the Deputy Manager cadre, Apprentices, ITIs, and skilled trained workforce.

Onboard new joiners and manage the Buddy Program for SMTs, Apprentices, and skilled workforce to ensure a smooth transition.

Ensure clarity and alignment of the organization structure by establishing and maintaining job descriptions and mapping staff and SMT positions.

Collaborate with institutes for campus hiring of Apprentices and skilled workforce.

Facilitate the PMS, OMR and ODC process for junior staff members.

Act as the Mediclaim single point of contact for the Halol location, assisting employees with insurance-related queries and claims.

Develop and maintain MIS and Flash reports for hiring post-hiring experience, attrition, and business reviews.

Maintain personnel files and oversee exit formalities for SMTs and contract labor, ensuring compliance.

Contribute actively to employer branding efforts aimed at elevating the company's standing as a preferred employer, while also establishing and managing talent pools for crucial roles and specialized expertise.

Develop and maintain a feedback mechanism for the hiring process, Interview Assessment Forms for candidates.

 

Knowledge, Experience and Education

Education:

MBA or master’s degree in HR will be preferred

Related Experience:

Minimum 5-7 years of Experience in HR Function and minimum 3 years of experience in Recruitment, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting

Additional Skills

(If Any):

Knowledge – Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and regulations. Experience in all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, performance management, onboarding, compliance, and organizational development. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
