About Civil & Urban Infrastructure Business: 

KEC’s Civil business focuses on the construction of factories, warehouses, residential buildings, railway stations, metros, and sewage & water treatment plants, and comprises of four verticals –  

A. Infrastructure & Heavy Civil (Metro & Water Projects),  
B. Industrial & Hydrocarbon (Factories) ,  
C. Residential & Public Spaces (Buildings, Commercial Spaces),  
D. Defence (Civil projects in Defence sector).

  1. Project Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement project plans, including defining scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation. Strategize the approach to accomplish project objectives efficiently. 

  1. Team Management: Lead and coordinate project teams, providing direction, guidance, and support to team members. Delegate tasks appropriately and ensure that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities. 

  1. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, executives, and team members. Maintain regular communication to provide updates, gather feedback, and address concerns. 

  1. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that may impact the project's success. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address these risks effectively. 

  1. Resource Management: Manage project resources, including budgets, staffing, and equipment. Ensure that resources are allocated efficiently and effectively to support project activities. 

  1. Quality Assurance: Monitor project progress and deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and adhere to project requirements. Implement quality assurance processes and procedures as needed. 

  1. Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts and challenges that arise during the project lifecycle. Facilitate resolution and maintain a positive and productive working environment within the project team. 

  1. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and distribute regular progress reports, status updates, and other project documentation. Keep stakeholders informed about project milestones, achievements, and challenges. 

  1. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and best practices within the project management framework. Implement changes to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
