Role Overview:

KEC International is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead procurement operations for its Renewable Energy business. The role involves strategic sourcing, vendor development, cost optimization, and ensuring timely procurement of materials and services to support project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals for solar, wind, and hybrid renewable projects.
• Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers; build long-term relationships to ensure quality and reliability.
• Cost Optimization: Drive cost reduction initiatives through negotiation, alternate sourcing, and value engineering.
• Contract Management: Lead contract negotiations, ensure compliance with legal and commercial terms, and manage risk.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Project Execution, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure seamless procurement operations.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply chain risks to inform procurement decisions.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and statutory regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; MBA or PGDM in Supply Chain/Operations preferred.
• 10–15 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in the renewable energy or infrastructure sector.
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, vendor development, and contract management.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement tools.
