The position will lead end-to-end product management for Connectors & Fittings product portfolio including engagement with end user/EPCs to determine technical specifications and commercials offer. Co-ordinating with internal cross-functional teams for all product/application related requirements and growing the organization's revenue (top & bottom line) by identifying new opportunities within Utility & Industry segment. | |||
Market Intelligence: - Define and build the industry trends and competition benchmarking mechanism for all products and customers - Participate in seminars/ conferences/ exhibitions etc. to gather knowledge about current and future market trends, changing customer needs, technological advancements and competition actions - Support development of annual budgets based on market analysis, competition analysis, past trends and, product/ project pipeline - Set and deliver revenue and profitability targets |

Product Strategy (Pricing & Positioning) - Develop roadmap for the product portfolio - Assess market competition by competition benchmarking & application understanding - Define value proposition and develop the core positioning of the products - Develop Go-to-Market strategies - Develop product sales strategies with sales team to increase market share of each product - Develop sales tools and marketing collaterals - Periodically train the sales/BD team on product value propositions |

New Product Business Case covering below points 1. Market Assessment : Identify the core application / market segment / market size / market trends for the product Map expected market share and lead customers, further understand their key unmet needs 2. Competitive & Technology Assessment : Proposed product benchmarking against competitor , Identify expected new product roadmap. Identify the key technology needed for product development 3. Product description & features : Key features needed in proposed product and how do these features meet the market needs, Identify the type of coordination needed with the related product and the implied needs. 4. Product Pricing & Financials: Sales volume forecast / pricing / target costing for the proposed product, Breakeven analysis & overall product profitability 5. Product branding & sales Assessment: product consistent with existing branding and its effects on channel and the sales model. |

Data Analytics - Monthly product trend report/dashboard - Tracking of Market size & Market Share - Track & drive VE & Market penetration projects with CFT - Active participation in the industrial forum such as IEEMA etc. - Develop & drive channel incentive scheme for retail product lines |

Pre-order Assistance / prescription - Guide team to engage with the customer to understand the technical requirement in detail - Review the tender specification and technical quotes of products - Receive customer feedback and oversee revision of offers - Conduct technical presentations for customers along with the sales team, as and when required |
