Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in the execution of water and industrial projects. The candidate will support the project execution team in planning, coordinating, and monitoring site activities while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day site activities for water treatment, water supply, wastewater, and industrial projects.
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, consultants, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor work progress and ensure activities are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
  • Supervise contractors and subcontractors to maintain quality and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality procedures, and statutory requirements.
  • Review engineering drawings and resolve basic site-related technical issues.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
  • Coordinate material planning, receipt, and utilization at the project site.
  • Participate in inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Assist in preparing measurements, billing documentation, and project records.
  • Identify project risks and escalate issues to the Project Manager for timely resolution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 2–4 years of experience in the execution of water infrastructure and industrial projects.
  • Experience in projects such as water treatment plants (WTP), sewage treatment plants (STP), effluent treatment plants (ETP), pumping stations, pipelines, reservoirs, or industrial utility projects is preferred.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of construction and project execution practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Understanding of quality control and safety standards.
  • Good coordination and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of project planning and reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project/Primavera will be an advantage.
