Position: Assistant Manager – Electrical
Location: Bhuj, Gujarat
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Electrical to manage and supervise electrical execution activities for wind power projects at the Bhuj site. The role involves planning, execution, testing, commissioning, and coordination of electrical works while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and monitor electrical works related to wind power projects.

Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of wind turbine electrical systems, substations, transmission lines, and associated equipment.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders for smooth project execution.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, electrical standards, statutory requirements, and safety guidelines.

Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of electrical activities as per the project schedule.

Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and construction plans.

Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues related to electrical installations.

Ensure availability of materials, equipment, and manpower required for project execution.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and maintain project documentation.

Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities to the client.

Ensure adherence to Quality Assurance and EHS requirements at the project site.
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.

Additional certifications in power systems, project management, or renewable energy will be an added advantage.
Experience
-
7–12 years of experience in electrical project execution within wind energy, renewable energy, transmission, substation, EPC, or power sector projects.

Experience in handling site execution, testing, and commissioning activities.

Exposure to wind farm projects and associated electrical infrastructure will be preferred.
Required Skills

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, substations, switchgear, transformers, transmission lines, and commissioning activities.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.

Knowledge of electrical safety standards and statutory compliance requirements.

Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and project reporting tools.
