Role: TL Plant Process QA  
Position: Sr. Manager – OEM QA  
Department: Quality Assurance | Grade: M2  
Reporting To: GM – Quality Assurance | Reportees: 6–8  

Purpose:  
Ensure product quality as per process standards by minimizing defects, rework, and waste. Drive monitoring and improvement of process quality and enhance customer satisfaction.  

KPAs:  
- Improve in-process quality  
- Reduce rejection and rework  
- Resolve customer complaints  
- Reduce cost of poor quality  
- Ensure audits and improvement projects  

Responsibilities:  

Strategic:  
- Guide shift quality teams  
- Support plant quality strategy  

Plant Quality:  
- Plan and monitor inspections and control plans  
- Conduct audits and review parameters  
- Drive corrective actions and improvement  
- Handle rejections, rework, discrepancies  
- Coordinate with production, design, vendors  
- Support calibration and quality cost tracking  

Customer & OEM:  
- Manage OEM interface and complaints  
- Conduct analysis and ensure corrective actions  
- Participate in customer discussions  
- Build customer confidence  

MIS & Compliance:  
- Update SAP and prepare reports  
- Track quality metrics  
- Maintain IATF, ISO, BIS documentation  

Digital:  
- Use Power BI, Tableau, SAP  
- Drive dashboards, automation, digital initiatives  

OEM/PPAP & MR:  
- Manage PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA  
- Handle customer audits and scorecards  
- Act as MR for QMS and certifications  

PDI & Audit:  
- Ensure PDI effectiveness  
- Reduce rejections  
- Conduct product audits  

Education/Experience:  
B.E./B.Tech with quality certifications; 15+ years experience
