JOB DUTIES

Job Summary:

Responsible for project co-ordination at site and take care of documentation control and technical compliance

Key Accountabilities

Duty Statements

Supervising:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Supervise all stages of installations like:
    • Excavation, Foundation and Erection of the switchyard structures
    • Installation of transformer
    • Construction of building (Control room, GIS building and misc.)
    • Outdoor development (Cable trenchers, roads, earthwork, metal spreading, boundary wall, fencing)
    • Stringing and Commissioning of the line

  • Manage excavation, foundation and erection activities of his part of the project independently
  • Ensures that the project is executed according to design and proper concrete mix is used
  • Manage the civil installation, subcontractor billing and client billing with construction manager
  • Responsible for creating the bargaining schedule and plan the construction activity based on the quantities derived from approved drawings
  • Maintain safe and healthy environment at site and monitor the daily activity
  • Organizes the JMC (Joint Measurement Certificate) meeting with client engineer after every phase of the project and helps the commercial manager to raise the construction invoice
  • Responsible for implementation of quality and safety measures at his section
  • Generate DPR (Daily progress report as per the format prepared by Construction manager) and daily manpower requirements
  • Maintain a risk management register and must know the ways to mitigate those risks
