Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Manager – Plant & Machinery to support railway infrastructure projects. The role involves managing the erection, operation, and maintenance of construction plants and machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance of all equipment used in railway construction and maintenance works.

  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of construction plants and machinery to minimize downtime across railway projects.

 

  • Oversee plant erection, operation, and maintenance, particularly Batching Plants and other support plants used in rail construction.

 

  • Supervise repair and upkeep of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM) and Heavy Movable Vehicles (HMV) used in railway works – including Excavators, Cranes, Dozers, Transit Mixers, DG sets, and more.

 

  • Monitor plant equipment health and initiate necessary actions to maintain efficiency and safety.

 

  • Maintain accurate machinery logs, maintenance reports, and records related to production and plant activities.

 

  • Ensure compliance with railway project safety standards and equipment regulations.

 

  • Assist in preparing hire bills and maintaining records for both owned and hired machinery.
