Job Title: Manager – Projects (Execution)
Grade: M1 – Manager
Location: Bhadla (Solar Projects)
Department: Projects / Execution
Reports To: Chief Manager – Projects / Project Head
Job Purpose:
To lead the end-to-end execution of solar power projects at the site, ensuring timely delivery within budget, quality, and safety standards, while coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Execution

Lead project execution activities for utility-scale solar projects at Bhadla.

Prepare and monitor project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation.

Ensure timely completion of civil, mechanical, and electrical works (modules, structures, cabling, and substations).
2. Site Coordination & Monitoring

Supervise contractors, vendors, and site teams to ensure adherence to project timelines.

Monitor progress against project milestones and initiate corrective actions.

Ensure strict compliance with QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) protocols.
3. Cost & Contract Management

Monitor project budgets, resource utilization, and material consumption.

Support project billing, material reconciliation, and cost control.

Coordinate with procurement and vendors for timely delivery of materials and equipment.
4. Stakeholder & Team Management

Act as the site lead for coordination with corporate teams, consultants, EPC partners, and clients.

Lead and mentor site engineers, supervisors, and contractors.

Facilitate regular project review meetings and provide MIS/Progress reports.
5. Quality & Compliance

Ensure quality standards in installation, commissioning, and testing activities.

Support statutory and regulatory compliance related to solar project execution.

Drive continuous improvement in site execution practices.
Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong project management and execution skills.

Knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical & civil works.

Proficiency in MS Project/Primavera for project scheduling.

Good communication, vendor management, and team leadership abilities.

Awareness of EHS and statutory compliance.
Qualifications & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering (mandatory).

8–12 years of experience in solar EPC / renewable energy projects, with at least 3–4 years in a project management/execution role.

Experience in large-scale solar project execution (50MW and above preferred).
