JOB DUTIES

Job Summary:

 

Procurement of Overall material requirement of company and disposal of scrape

 

Key Accountabilities

Planning & Implementation:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Procurement of steel and BNA required by the company as per the project delivery schedule
  •  Inventory control in terms of regulating steel delivering from suppliers
  • Arrange inspection of materials through company’s QA, KEC representative and customer (if required)
  • Performance evaluation of vendor and maintaining their records
  • Responsible for rejection settlement of materials with the suppliers
  • Arrange dispatch documents to project department for direct dispatch of BNA to site for PGCIL project for billing
  • Overall control of arranging bolts & nuts accessories
  • Development of new vendors
  • Responsible for disposal of scrape
  • Consolidation of fund requirement and follow up
  • Ensuring timely payment to all steel suppliers and their timely submission of LC request to finance
