About Power Transmission & Distribution Business.

With over seven decdes of experience in the industry, KEC is aglobal leader in the power Transmission & DistributionEPC space. This is the largest business vertical of the company.

The company has capabilities to design, manufacture, test, supply and Erect transmission lines on turnkey basis up to 1,200 KV, along with end-to-end solutions for underground HT and EHV cabling works. The company also executes turney EPC projects that involve High Voltage Electrical Switching and Distribution Substations across the globe. Responsibilities

• You will lead the planning and design of civil works for GIS substations, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
• We expect you to coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate civil engineering solutions within GIS substation projects effectively.
• You shall oversee the execution of construction activities on-site, managing resources to meet project timelines and budgets.
• You will conduct site assessments to identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies to ensure safety and durability.
• We expect you to review and approve technical specifications and drawings related to civil aspects of GIS substations.
• You shall liaise with stakeholders, including clients and contractors, to align project objectives and expectations.
• You will mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support in developing their skills in civil engineering for substations.
• We expect you to prepare detailed reports and documentation that accurately reflect project progress and any deviations from plans.

Requirements

• You must possess strong expertise in overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of high-voltage GIS substations.
• We require you to demonstrate proficiency in using specialized software tools for civil engineering within substation projects.
• You should have a deep understanding of safety standards and regulatory compliance specific to GIS substation operations.
