With over seven decdes of experience in the industry, KEC is aglobal leader in the power Transmission & DistributionEPC space. This is the largest business vertical of the company.

Job Title: Senior Engineer – Piling

Location: Gujarat, India

Job Description:

We at KEC International are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead piling operations across multiple T&D project sites in and around Gujarat. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in underwater and marine piling, with a strong focus on execution, quality, safety, and coordination with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, guide, and monitor marine piling activities across all assigned project sites.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise in marine/underwater piling methods, equipment, and execution.
• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure alignment on technical requirements, execution timelines, and quality expectations.
• Participate in technical discussions, progress reviews, and client meetings to ensure transparency and effective communication.
• Ensure adherence to project schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess execution progress and resolve site-level issues proactively.
• Support in the preparation and review of method statements, risk assessments, and construction drawings related to piling.
• Train and mentor project execution teams to build technical capability on marine piling.
• Provide periodic reports and updates to management and client stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent. Master’s degree will be preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience majority in marine piling operations, including underwater piling, diaphragm walls, bored cast-in-situ, or driven piles.
• Strong technical background in piling methods, equipment, and marine construction practices.
• Experience working on infrastructure projects with government/private sector clients.
• Excellent client handling and coordination skills with a proactive problem-solving approach.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel across sites in Gujarat as required.
