Senior Engineer - Quality

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Engineer with expertise in Quality Management, Auditing, Material Inspection, and Supplier/Vendor Assessment. This role is critical for ensuring that quality standards and procedures are rigorously followed throughout the project lifecycle in Solar Power Plant projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Documentation Management:
  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive Quality Documentation for site operations, including Project Quality Plans, Field Quality Plans, Quality Checklists, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), Risk Registers, and Quality Reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of Inspection Reports for incoming materials, mechanical/electrical components, and construction processes.
  • Maintain Quality Training Records, Minutes of Meeting (MOM), and other related documentation to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Supplier/Vendor Quality Management:
  • Oversee the assessment and monitoring of supplier product quality, including KPI tracking and customer PPM (Parts Per Million).
  • Conduct regular supplier audits, and manage quality-related issues, collaborating with suppliers to drive corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Perform material inspections and ensure adherence to IS/IEC standards for various components used in construction and solar power projects.
• Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Actions:
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for supplier quality issues and implement corrective actions to address product and process deficiencies.
  • Facilitate process improvement initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams to eliminate quality deviations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
