Senior Engineer - Quality

Job Purpose:

To ensure implementation and adherence to quality standards across all phases of the solar project, including civil, structural, and electrical works, in line with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP)

• Conduct quality inspections for civil works (foundations, piling, structures), module mounting structures (MMS), and electrical installations

• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, IS/IEC standards, and client requirements

• Perform and witness site tests (compaction test, cube test, pull-out test, earthing resistance, etc.)

• Maintain and review quality documentation, including inspection reports, checklists, NCRs, and test records

• Identify non-conformities (NCRs) and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

• Coordinate with site execution, design, and client/consultant teams for quality-related matters

• Support internal and external audits and ensure closure of audit observations

• Ensure proper material quality checks at site (incoming inspection and approvals)

• Monitor subcontractor quality performance and adherence to standards

• Promote and ensure adherence to quality and safety practices at site
