About Power Transmission & Distribution Business.

With over seven decdes of experience in the industry, KEC is aglobal leader in the power Transmission & DistributionEPC space. This is the largest business vertical of the company.

The company has capabilities to design, manufacture, test, supply and Erect transmission lines on turnkey basis up to 1,200 KV, along with end-to-end solutions for underground HT and EHV cabling works. The company also executes turney EPC projects that involve High Voltage Electrical Switching and Distribution Substations across the globe. Responsibilities

• You shall ensure the implementation of safety protocols and standards specific to substation operations, maintaining compliance with national and local regulations.
• We expect you to conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments at substations to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• You will develop and facilitate training programs for staff on safe work practices, emergency response procedures, and proper equipment handling within substations.
• You shall lead incident investigations related to safety violations or accidents in substations and prepare detailed reports with actionable insights.
• We expect you to collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to integrate safety measures into ongoing projects and operational processes at substations.
• You will monitor the effectiveness of existing safety programs through data analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
• You shall act as a liaison with regulatory bodies during inspections and audits, ensuring all documentation and practices align with their requirements.
• We expect you to promote a culture of safety awareness across all levels of personnel involved in substation operations.
