About Power Transmission & Distribution Business.

With over seven decdes of experience in the industry, KEC is aglobal leader in the power Transmission & DistributionEPC space. This is the largest business vertical of the company.

The company has capabilities to design, manufacture, test, supply and Erect transmission lines on turnkey basis up to 1,200 KV, along with end-to-end solutions for underground HT and EHV cabling works. The company also executes turney EPC projects that involve High Voltage Electrical Switching and Distribution Substations across the globe. Responsibilities

• You will ensure the compliance of safety regulations and standards within substation operations, conducting regular audits and inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
• We expect you to lead and coordinate safety training sessions for staff at substations, fostering a culture of continuous learning and awareness regarding safety practices.
• You shall develop and implement risk management strategies to identify potential hazards in substation activities and recommend corrective actions accordingly.
• We anticipate you will collaborate with engineering teams to review and enhance safety protocols during equipment maintenance and installation procedures.
• You will investigate incidents or near misses within substations, compiling detailed reports and sharing findings with relevant stakeholders to prevent recurrence.
• You shall act as a liaison between local authorities and our organization for any safety-related matters concerning substation operations.
• We expect you to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing safety measures, proposing improvements to align with best industry practices.
• You will mentor junior team members on safety policies and procedures, promoting adherence through example and support.

• Your role involves developing and implementing emergency response plans tailored for substation environments.

• You must lead training sessions focused on educating substation personnel about safe work practices and emergency protocols.
• A key responsibility is maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and technological advancements related to substation safety.
• You will be tasked with documenting and reporting safety performance metrics to senior management for continuous improvement efforts.
