JOB DUTIES

Job Summary:

We are looking for experienced Senior Officer – Stores will be responsible for overseeing all store operations at the solar power project site in Bhadla, Rajasthan. This role will involve managing inventory, procurement, logistics, and ensuring the timely availability of materials and equipment to support project activities.

  1. Inventory Management:
  • Oversee the accurate tracking and management of all inventory items, including spare parts, consumables, and equipment.
  • Implement inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and minimize wastage.
  • Conduct regular stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
  1. Procurement:
  • Develop and manage procurement strategies to source materials and equipment efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  1. Logistics:
  • Coordinate the timely delivery and dispatch of materials and equipment to and from the project site.
  • Manage transportation and logistics operations to minimize costs and optimize delivery times.
  • Oversee the storage and handling of materials to prevent damage and loss.
  1. Warehouse Management:
  • Ensure the proper organization and maintenance of the project warehouse.
  • Implement safety measures to protect personnel and equipment.
  • Manage warehouse staff, including assigning tasks, training, and performance evaluation.
  1. Cost Control:
  • Monitor and control store expenses to ensure they are within budget.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to reduce costs.
  1. Reporting:
  • Prepare regular reports on store operations, inventory levels, and procurement activities.
  • Provide updates on store performance and identify areas for improvement.

 

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Years of Experience:  10-12 Years

  • Bachelor’s degree in any stream.
  • Experience working on large-scale projects, preferably in the solar or renewable energy sector.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and procurement processes.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
