External Job Description

. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Facilitate the annual budgeting process with Department Heads, the Plant Finance Head, and other support functions
• Initiate and coordinate financial planning and budgeting activities across departments of the plant
• Evaluate Capex proposals raised by departments and refine/develop them where required
• Build operating cost projections for production and project execution using scenario models (labour, material cost, time, etc.) under the guidance of the GM – Finance
• Extract and analyse historical financial and cost data (direct, indirect, fixed and variable costs) to support planning

2. Budgeting

• Initiate, coordinate and prepare plant-specific budgets in line with Corporate guidelines
• Conduct the annual budget meeting with Department Heads, the Plant Finance Head and support functions
• Liaise with Department Heads to obtain timely and accurate projections and targets
• Conduct Budget vs. Actual variance analysis for departments and provide regular feedback to control expenses
• Monitor Budgeted vs. Actual Capex spend and highlight deviations
• Partner with the Corporate Finance team in developing and refining budgeting standards
