Job Summary:
The Manager - Planning (BLT) will be responsible for strategizing, planning, and executing all Below-the-Line (BTL) marketing activities in the Chennai region. This role involves developing and implementing on-ground activations, managing vendor and agency relationships, overseeing event execution, and ensuring all BTL efforts align with overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in BTL marketing, excellent project management skills, and a deep understanding of the local market.
Key Responsibilities:

BTL Campaign Planning & Execution:

Develop and implement strategic BTL marketing plans, including events, promotions, sponsorships, roadshows, and other on-ground activations.

Plan and execute BTL campaigns that effectively engage the target audience and achieve brand and business goals.

Ensure all BTL activities are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.

Vendor and Agency Management:

Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners for BTL activities.

Negotiate contracts, manage budgets, and ensure deliverables meet brand standards and quality expectations.

Budget Management & ROI Analysis:

Plan, allocate, and monitor the BTL marketing budget for the region.

Track, measure, and analyze the performance of BTL campaigns using key metrics and KPIs.

Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on campaign effectiveness and return on investment (ROI).

Collaboration & Coordination:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, digital marketing, and PR, to ensure seamless integration of BTL efforts with overall marketing strategies.

Serve as a key point of contact for all BTL-related activities in the region, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

Market Intelligence & Innovation:

Conduct market research to understand consumer preferences, behaviors, and market trends in the Chennai region.

Constantly innovate and propose new marketing initiatives and BTL strategies to create brand recall and awareness.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in marketing, with a significant focus on BTL marketing and brand activation.

Proven track record of successfully planning and executing BTL campaigns.
