Job Title: Project Manager – BLT

Band/Grade: M2 – Manager
Location: Chennai

Role Purpose:

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing BLT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to quality standards, cost control, safety compliance, and effective coordination with clients, consultants, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end execution of BLT projects, including planning, scheduling, resource mobilization, and monitoring.

• Manage project budgets, control costs, and ensure timely invoicing and cash flow.

• Oversee contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure work quality and compliance with contractual obligations.

• Monitor project progress through regular reviews and reports, taking corrective measures for deviations.

• Ensure strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental (SHE) guidelines at site.

• Coordinate with design, procurement, and engineering teams to resolve technical and contractual issues.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder satisfaction.

• Lead, guide, and motivate site teams to deliver projects within agreed timelines and specifications.

• Manage risks, disputes, claims, and ensure contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

• Ensure handover of project deliverables as per scope, quality, and client requirements.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).

• 10–15 years of relevant experience in managing BLT / EPC projects, with at least 3–5 years in a project leadership role.

• Proven expertise in project planning, execution, cost control, contracts, and stakeholder management.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Knowledge of project management tools/software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) will be an advantage.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
