Role – IT Business Analyst: Oracle Fusion, Supply Chain (Procure to Pay)

2. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Information Technology, or Business.
  • MBA / Postgraduate qualification is an added advantage
  • Oracle Fusion SCM Module/s certification is an added advantage

 

3. Job Location

Thane, Maharashtra (Travel to manufacturing plants as required)

 

4. Position Summary

We are looking for a IT Business Analyst with 4–6 years of experience to support Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Management, covering Procurement, Inventory Management / MRP, and Manufacturing modules.

The role focuses on day-to-day ERP support, issue analysis, requirement documentation, testing support, and coordination with procurement, stores, and plant teams.

This position is intended for candidates aspiring to grow into a functional consultant or application specialist role in Oracle Fusion SCM (Procurement, Inventory & Manufacturing).

 

5. Key Responsibilities

5.1 BAU Support & Incident Management

  • Provide L1 / L2 functional support for Oracle Fusion modules
  • Analyse user-reported issues for root-cause identification and solution
  • Coordinate with internal IT teams and implementation partners for issue resolution
  • Contribute to system documentation and knowledge base
  • Track incidents and ensure timely closure as per defined SLAs
  • Perform Data Conversion for all major data objects through FBDI/ ADFDI

5.2 Support procurement processes including:

  • Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), Receiving of materials (GRN), Approval workflows

 

    1. Support warehouse and stores operations related to:
  • Inventory organizations, sub-inventories, and locators
  • Material receipts, issues, and internal transfers
  • On-hand balance and availability queries
  • Support cycle count and physical inventory activities

 

5.4 Support manufacturing-related functional processes such as:

  • Work Orders, Bills of Material (BOM), Routings and other production transactions

 

5.6 Requirement Gathering & Documentation

  • Assist in gathering requirements for system enhancements / Change Requests
  • Document requirements and process flows
  • Create TO-BE process flow and analyze impacts of changes from AS-IS flows
  • Support gap analysis against standard Oracle Fusion functionality
  • Support standardization of processes across plants

 

5.7 Testing & Deployment Support

  • Prepare test cases and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Validate fixes and enhancements in test environments.
  • Support deployments and hypercare activities

 

6. Qualifications & Competencies

6.1 Experience

  • 4–6 years of experience in ERP support, business analysis, or functional consulting roles.
  • Experience / exposure to a manufacturing environment is a must

 

6.2 Functional & Technical Competencies

  • Functional understanding of SCM processes
  • Hands-on exposure to Oracle Fusion SCM
  • Understanding of incident and issue management processes

 

6.3 Behavioural Competencies
