Job Description – Executive Assistant to the CHRO
Role Purpose The Executive Assistant to the CHRO will serve as a strategic partner, enabling the CHRO to drive the organization's people agenda through effective planning, governance, stakeholder coordination, and execution of key initiatives. The role requires a highly analytical, proactive, and business-oriented individual who can manage cross-functional priorities, prepare executive-level communication, track strategic projects, and ensure seamless execution of HR initiatives. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Governance
• Partner with the CHRO to drive execution of strategic HR priorities and organizational initiatives.
• Track progress of key HR projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Develop executive dashboards, reports, and presentations for leadership reviews, Board meetings, and business updates.
• Monitor action items arising from leadership meetings and drive timely closure with relevant stakeholders. Program & Project Management
• Coordinate and monitor cross-functional HR initiatives, ensuring alignment across Centres of Excellence and HR Business Partners.
• Support implementation of transformation projects, policy rollouts, organizational restructuring, and change management initiatives.
• Identify execution risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, escalating issues proactively. Executive Communication & Decision Support
• Prepare briefing notes, talking points, concept papers, and executive summaries for the CHRO.
• Conduct research and benchmarking on HR best practices, industry trends, and emerging people practices.
• Analyze HR metrics and business data to generate actionable insights that support decision-making. Stakeholder Management
• Collaborate with senior leaders, business heads, and HR leadership to ensure alignment on strategic initiatives.
• Act as a central coordination point for information flow between the CHRO's office and internal stakeholders.
• Follow up with functional leaders to ensure timely completion of critical deliverables. Business Reviews & Reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual review packs. • Consolidate updates from various HR functions for leadership meetings.
• Maintain governance trackers for strategic initiatives and monitor progress against defined KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement in governance mechanisms, reporting formats, and review processes.
• Standardize templates, trackers, and reporting frameworks across HR.
• Support development of operating rhythms and management review processes for the HR function.
• MBA/Postgraduate Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline from a reputed institute
