Key Responsibilities:

EHS Compliance and Audits:
- Ensure adherence to EHS laws, regulations, and corporate policies for infrastructure projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for non-compliance issues.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.

Risk Assessment and Safety Management:
- Lead the risk assessment process for new and ongoing projects, identifying potential hazards and implementing mitigation measures.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure all project activities follow safety protocols.
- Review and approve safety plans, procedures, and work permits.
- Manage and ensure safe working practices on construction sites, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Training and Awareness:
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs to employees, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure all employees are equipped with the knowledge to operate safely and sustainably in compliance with regulations.
- Foster a culture of safety by promoting EHS awareness across all project stages.

Incident Management and Reporting:
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain detailed incident reports and regulatory filings, ensuring timely submission to relevant authorities.
- Lead efforts to continuously improve safety performance by analyzing incident trends and recommending improvements.

Sustainability and Environmental Management:
- Monitor and manage environmental impacts associated with infrastructure projects, including waste management, water, and air quality control.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, promoting sustainable practices and eco-friendly initiatives.
- Develop and implement environmental management plans (EMPs) to minimize the ecological footprint of infrastructure projects.

Coordination and Communication:
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, contractors, and senior management, regarding EHS matters.
- Provide expert advice and technical support on all EHS issues related to infrastructure development.
- Prepare and present EHS reports, including performance metrics, audits, and incident analyses, to management.
