Responsibilities :-
• Focus on large-scale projects, major corporations, and emerging investments within the assigned business segment.
• Identify new business development opportunities by following up on leads and conducting research on potential clients, consultants, and utility companies.
• Develop and communicate product positioning, creating compelling value propositions for clients, while demonstrating return on investment (ROI).
• Engage with clients, consultants, and utility companies to secure approvals and promote new products, emphasizing key product differentiators.
• Generate new business by meeting with prospective clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Build and maintain a sales pipeline (enquiry bank) and actively track it to improve conversion rates.
• Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing, taking full responsibility for new business opportunities.
• Organize presentations, seminars, and attend industry conferences to build a strong presence among potential clients.
• Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity and revenue targets.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes, sharing relevant insights internally to inform necessary adjustments to business strategy.
Qualification :
BE / Btech
Technical skills :-
• Strong understanding of the company’s product portfolio (e.g., cables, switchgear, transformers, EPC offerings, etc.)
• Application knowledge of electrical systems, grid infrastructure, or relevant domain (if technical background)
• Understanding of RFPs/RFQs, tender specifications, bid submissions
• Awareness of utility board standards, industrial certifications (like BIS, IEC, etc.), and local regulatory frameworks
Functional:
• Capability to identify, qualify, and convert high-value prospects
• Networking and relationship-building with large accounts, consultants, and utilities
• Ability to research potential clients, upcoming projects, market shifts
• Competitor benchmarking and industry trend analysis
