JOB DUTIES

Job Summary:

We are looking for experienced Assistant Manager – Civil Design specializing in solar power plant design with a proven track record of ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations. Proficient in preparing detailed Civil BOQs, conducting site assessments, and designing robust civil infrastructure, including foundations, access roads, and drainage systems.

  1. Solar Plant Design:
  • Lead civil engineering efforts in the design and construction of solar power plants.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and local regulations throughout the design and construction phases.
  1. Bill of Quantities (BOQ) Preparation:
  • Generate comprehensive Civil BOQs for both ground-mounted and rooftop solar plants.
  • Prepare detailed Civil BOQs for 220kV/400kV Substation, including MMS, ICR, and MCR building, substation structure and foundation, transformer foundation, soak pit design, and earthing.
  1. Site Visits and Assessments:
  • Conduct site visits to assess and address geotechnical or environmental challenges.
  • Provide recommendations based on site assessments to ensure the feasibility and integrity of the solar power projects.
  1. Civil Infrastructure Design:
  • Design and analyze civil infrastructure for solar power projects.
  • Develop plans for foundation systems, access roads, and drainage systems to support the solar power plant.
  1. Geotechnical Investigations:
  • Perform geotechnical investigations to assess soil conditions.
  • Provide recommendations for foundation design based on geotechnical findings.
  1. Technical Documentation:
  • Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications for civil engineering aspects of solar power plant projects.
  • Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software for accurate and detailed documentation.
  1. Structural Design:
  • Design foundations and structural components for solar panels, ensuring stability and durability.
  • Ensure that the structural elements comply with industry standards and safety requirements.
  1. Holistic BOQ Preparation:
  • Create a comprehensive Solar Plant Civil BOQ encompassing MMS, ICR, and MCR building, substation structure and foundation, transformer foundation, soak pit design, and earthing.

 

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Years of Experience:  5-10 Years

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Proven experience in civil engineering for solar power plant projects.
