Job Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for detailed design and engineering of fire protection systems, including fire water storage tanks, pump houses, hydrant and spray networks, MVWS/HVWS, sprinkler, gas suppression, and fire alarm systems.
  2. Prepare DBRs, P&IDs, hydraulic calculations, technical specifications, BOQs, RFQs, and vendor technical evaluations in compliance with NFPA, TAC, NBC, OISD, UL, and FM standards.
  3. Design gas flooding systems (CO₂, CAF, Inergen, NOVEC, FM200) and VESDA systems, and perform firewater demand assessments and pump sizing using tools like PipeNet.
  4. Provide technical guidance for 2D/3D & BIM modelling, duct design, pressure loss calculations, and HVAC system design including chillers, AHUs, cooling towers, and smoke management systems.
  5. Execute HAZOP studies, PHE design engineering, and coordinate tenders, ongoing projects, and multi-disciplinary meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Liaise with clients, consultants, and vendors to finalize designs, review technical submissions, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  7. Develop HVAC designs and calculations using ASHRAE, SMACNA, IS Code, NBC standards, and tools such as HAP and CFD.
  8. Prepare and track BIM execution plans, integrate MEP packages, and coordinate vendor drawings for mechanical and specialist systems.
  9. Contribute to vendor development, specialist system integration, and ensure engineering best practices for RO/DM plants, compressed air systems, and cooling water systems where applicable.
