Officer - Draftsman

Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled Draftsman to prepare technical drawings and plans used in construction, manufacturing, or engineering projects. The ideal candidate should be proficient in CAD software and capable of translating concepts and specifications into accurate technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, etc.)

Create technical drawings, plans, and layouts based on specifications provided by engineers or architects.

Revise drawings based on feedback and ensure all revisions are documented.

Ensure that drawings comply with industry and company standards.

Coordinate with project teams and attend design meetings when necessary.

Maintain drawing records and manage version control.

Assist in estimating quantities and preparing material lists (as required).

Requirements:

Diploma or certification in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Draftsman or similar role.

Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar).

Good understanding of technical drawings and construction/design standards.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

Familiarity with BIM software or other 3D modeling tools.

Knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
