Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager – Electrical Design to lead and manage electrical engineering design activities for large-scale infrastructure / industrial / power projects. The role involves overseeing design execution, ensuring compliance with technical standards, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions within timelines and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the electrical design team for EPC / infrastructure / industrial projects.

• Review and approve electrical system designs, including:

  • HT/LT distribution systems

  • Substations & switchyards

  • Transformers & switchgear

  • Protection & control schemes

  • Earthing & lightning protection systems

  • Lighting and small power layouts

• Ensure compliance with national & international standards (IS, IEC, IEEE, etc.).

• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, procurement, and project execution teams.

• Review technical specifications, BOQs, vendor drawings, and design documents.

• Provide technical support during project execution and commissioning.

• Manage design schedules, resource allocation, and cost control.

• Conduct technical discussions with clients, consultants, and vendors.

• Identify value engineering opportunities and optimize design solutions.

• Mentor and develop junior engineers and design staff.
