JOB DUTIES

Job Summary:

Manage Procurement processes for Railway Electrical packages (EPC Projects).

  • Manage procurement of Electrical and mechanical items for Railway Infrastructures projects for Indian Railway and Metro projects.
  • Manage all PR to PO processes like vendor search, vendor development, Initiate RFQ, comparing technically and commercially, Negotiate, approvals as per SOP, Release of PO in SAP, Co-ordinate for inspection and dispatch and payment to vendor.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to source goods and services, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Prepare purchase orders (PO) and manage vendor relationships to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Utilize MS Office tools such as Excel to track inventory levels, create reports, and analyze data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to procurement processes.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns
  • Proven Work Experience as a procurement Officer / associate / specialist; experience in procurement of railway electrification projects for CORE, RVNL, IRCON and Metro projects preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of SAP module for managing procurement activities.
  • Proficiency in creating Agreements, reports in MS Office applications.
