About Railways Business:

KEC is an integrated player in the Railway EPC industry, providing complete turnkey solutions for all types of railway contracts. The Company has integrated backwards to manufacture contact & catenary conductors, signaling cables as well as galvanized steel structures for railways. It has the capacity to manufacture 48,000 MTPA of railway structures.

Job Summary: KEC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP professional to join our dynamic team as a Senior Officer-SAP. With a focus on SAP PS and MM modules, the successful candidate will contribute to end-to-end SAP implementation and support projects.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. End-to-End Implementation:
    • Lead and actively participate in SAP S4-HANA implementation projects, specializing in SAP PS and MM modules.
  2. Configuration and Customization:
    • Configure SAP PS Module settings, including project profiles, WBS elements, networks, and activities.
    • Implement budgeting and cost planning functionalities, managing initial budgets, supplement budgets, and budget transfers.
    • Set up release strategies for WBS elements and projects based on business requirements.
  3. Material Management:
    • Utilize expertise in SAP MM to handle material master creation, vendor master maintenance, and service master management.
    • Configure material-related aspects such as plant codes, release strategies, material groups, and material types.
  4. Roles & Authorization:
    • Collaborate on SAP BASIS for roles and authorization management, ensuring secure and efficient system access.
  5. Documentation and Testing:
    • Develop functional documentation for RICEFs related to SAP PS and MM modules.
    • Conduct unit and integration testing for SAP developments.
  6. Support and Maintenance:
    • Provide end-to-end support for SAP PS and MM modules, resolving issues and implementing enhancements.
    • Address and resolve budgeting and project structuring issues.
  7. Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Finalize SAP PS and MM processes by engaging with key stakeholders.
    • Prepare process flow documents and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  8. Training and User Support:
    • Prepare user training manuals and conduct training sessions for more than 200 users.
    • Offer continuous end-user support for various departments, including purchase, store, and planning.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • Minimum 6 years of overall professional experience.
  • 3 years of specific experience in SAP implementation and support projects.
  • Expertise in SAP PS and MM modules, with basic knowledge of SD and Basis modules.
