External Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1.Design and Development:
oLead the conceptualization, design, and development of products, considering factors such as electrical performance, thermal management, durability, and manufacturability.
oUtilize CAD software and simulation tools to model and analyse product designs, optimizing for efficiency and reliability.
oStay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to integrate innovative features into the solar.

2.Testing and Validation:
oDevelop test plans and procedures to evaluate the electrical and mechanical performance of the products under various operating conditions.
oCollaborate with testing teams to conduct validation tests and analyse results, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
oIdentify areas for improvement and implement design modifications based on test findings.

3.Manufacturing Support:
oWork closely with manufacturing partners to ensure seamless transition from design to production, providing technical guidance and resolving any design-related issues.
oOptimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality control measures.
oConduct regular audits and inspections to maintain consistency in production and performance.

4.Cross-functional Collaboration:
oCollaborate with internal teams, including electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and product management, to align product design with overall system requirements and project goals.
oLiaise with external stakeholders, such as suppliers and customers, to gather feedback, address concerns, and incorporate requirements into the product designs.

5.Documentation and Compliance:
oPrepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and installation guidelines, to support product development and deployment.
oEnsure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines in the design and manufacturing of solar products.
oStay informed about changes in regulations and standards, updating designs and processes accordingly to maintain compliance.
