JOB DUTIES

Job Summary:

Responsible for manufacturing with a budgeted production at a particular site

  • Responsible for meeting the production targets & plant maintenance parameters
  • Take responsibility for implementing the changes on the shop floor towards modern work practices for improving the production efficiency & safety
  • Implement company directives & policies on the shop floor
  • Participate & be active member of the local management committee
  • Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve products or reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, quality control standards, or product design, materials and parts
  • Responsible for aligning the manufacturing and quality requirements as per the customer
  • Determine root causes of failures using statistical methods and recommend changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods
  • Provide technical expertise or support related to manufacturing
  • Incorporate new methods and processes to improve existing operations and the products
  • Responsible for implementation of new world class tools for improving the work culture on the shop floor as per the customer requirements

  • Supervise technicians, technologists, analysts, administrative staff or other engineers
  • Accountable for guiding, developing & training the manufacturing/ maintenance team
