JOB DUTIES

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing procurement activities at the plant

  • Study various industry practices, adopts best plan and directs and manages various procurement activities
  • Identify and develop new potential vendors and negotiate with vendors to get the best deal
  • Prepare the contracts and arrange the approvals
  • Design and prepare the comparatives and presents to top management
  • Research and evaluate commodity, technology, products and make recommendations
  • Arrange CT-1 for direct export and look for opportunities for the development of new vendors
  • Liable for implementing 5S to improve working area
  • Responsible for providing information which is required for MIS

 

Co-ordination:

 

 

 

 

  • Co-ordinate with Production and Plant Engineering & other stakeholder for clarification of procurement etc.
  • Ensure timely payment to suppliers in coordination with accounts & quality department
