JOB DUTIES

Job Summary:

 

Responsible for  Quality Assurance and Inspection of Quality Standard

 

Key Accountabilities

Planning & Implementation:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Accountable for inspection and monitoring Quality Assurance activities
  • Liaison with external bodies for Quality related activities
  • Development of Quality Systems and Techniques for up-gradation & Improvements in Product Quality and Process
  • Responsible for execution and implementing QPM-2
  • Responsible for establishing Sampling Plan and Inspection Procedure for Inspection of Incoming, Process and Finish Material
  • Responsible for development for Production Up-gradation and Improvement in Product Quality and Process at Vendor’s
  • Responsible for ensuring Corrective/Preventive action for improvement

 

Supervising:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Support Materials team in development and self certification of key vendors
  • Facilitate, track, monitor and drive QBM projects across Supply Chain
  • Ensure QA of Vendors is done through audits as well as joint development
  • Monitor supplier and contractor performance with respect to approval MQP
  • Prepare and submit periodical report on QA/ QC activities to HO
  • Liable for Quality surveillance of site activities and for internal audit at sites
