With over seven decdes of experience in the industry, KEC is aglobal leader in the power Transmission & DistributionEPC space. This is the largest business vertical of the company.

JOB DUTIES

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing the end-to-end process of Asset Management for Transmission Line project equipments

Reviewing Project details:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Check & audit the procedure for procurement of asset
  • Check the requirement of the asset procured and make a cost comparative analysis between procurement of the asset viz-a-viz hiring the same
  • Maintain a data base of all stock items with proper nomenclature approved by Country Manager
  • Lodge police complain and insurance claim on the event of any loss / theft / damage of any asset and take full ownership in getting the claim from the insurance company
  • In case of closure of project closely monitor and record the asset, present the list to the Country Manager and follow his instruction for disposal/ resale
  • Study the requisition raised by the site offices for the requirement of construction equipments used in Transmission Line projects
  • Generate enquiries with various vendors from domestic as well as international market
  • Raise the purchase order and track the material/ consignment movement till it reaches the site. Support the vendor in all necessary documentation process

 

Updating & Maintenance:

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Update the MIS and report the concern authorities on regular basis
  • Create ways and means to track the consignment for timely delivery
  • Update the maintenance record on regular basis and arrange for the timely maintenance of the equipment's by creating a database system for tracking
  • Tie-ups with local vendors for regular supply of equipment's
  • Study the Equipment Specification in detail and do market survey on its performance. Develop a report and present it to management on regular basis
