Senior Officer - Projects

JOB DUTIES

Job Summary:

Responsible for Revenue and Profitability of the projects along with adherence of EHS and Quality norms.

Responsible for the planning & execution of assigned section of the project.

Fulfil all contractual obligation of the project and protect all contractual rights of the company.

Key Accountabilities

Duty Statements

Planning:

• Manage complete section from award stage to closure stage.
• Forecast section budget and human resource requirements.
• Ensure section completion within specified time, quality, and budget.
• Create and execute section work plans (Micro / Macro) and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

Implementation:

• Monitor the Construction, Supply, Revenue activities to ensure adherence to targets.
• Monitor the progress of section and update Project Manager/ Regional Manager / PCH with the mandated frequency of reviews.
• Maintain complete project documentation with respect to design and construction.
• Communicate with client regarding project progress, contractual issues, contract validation etc.
• Identify and propose NS Items and Variation claims (change of scope) and pursue the same with client till realization.
• Identify and implement various relevant mechnisation and digital initiatives.
• Follow approved method statements in compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
• Identify, monitor and control sub-contractors to ensure timely execution at the project site.
• Ensure elimination of non-adherence of Statutory Compliance by subcontractors.
• Manage and control local purchase and payment related issues.
• Coordinate with local district officials and mining subcontractors to control royalty related issues of materials.
• Coordinate with local Civic / Law & Order bodies to ensure smooth execution of project.
