Senior Engineer - Logistics

Job Summary:
The Senior Engineer – Logistics will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing logistics activities for wind power projects. The role involves ensuring timely transportation, handling, and delivery of wind turbine components, equipment, and materials to project sites while maintaining safety, cost efficiency, and compliance with project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage logistics operations for transportation of wind turbine components, including blades, towers, nacelles, and other project materials.
• Coordinate with vendors, transporters, and internal teams to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of materials to site.
• Monitor movement of heavy and over-dimensional cargo (ODC) and ensure proper route surveys and clearances.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and company logistics policies.
• Track shipments, maintain logistics records, and prepare regular status reports for project management.
• Coordinate with project, procurement, and site teams to align logistics schedules with project execution plans.
• Manage unloading, storage, and handling of materials at site while ensuring minimal damage or loss.
• Identify logistics risks and implement mitigation plans to avoid delays in project execution.
• Support cost optimization initiatives in transportation and logistics operations.
