Manager- Costing & budgeting
- Strategic Business Partner: Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments, including Engineering, Production, Quality and HR, to ensure seamless financial operations and analytics for decision making.
- Annual Planning: Develop and manage the plant’s annual budget, Monitor financial performance and provide forecasts, Identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Financial Reporting Prowess: Contribute to the accuracy and completeness of monthly financial statements, including trial balance, profit and loss accounts, and balance sheet analysis. Assist in the timely completion of statutory and quarterly audits, collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Cost Analysis & Control: Analyze production costs, labor expenses, and material costs, Monitor and control variances in production costs, Ensure accurate cost accounting and inventory valuation.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, Ensure compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, and regulations,Support Audits and financial reviews.
- analyzing and controlling manufacturing costs, managing inventory levels, and contributing to the development of accurate budgets. This involves:
- Conducting comprehensive cost analysis to identify areas for improvement and contribute to informed decision-making.
- Leading pre-costing activities for new products and processes, ensuring accurate cost estimations
- Implementing robust inventory control measures to minimize write-offs and discrepancies between input and output reports.
- Control, analyse and drive and analyzing operational expenses (OPEX) along with Stakeholders to identify and implement cost control measures.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to reduce conversion costs and optimize depreciation schedules
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a Cost Accountant / CA / CMA
- 3-8 years of experience
- SAP experience in costing module / SAP FICO
- Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding of Indian tax laws, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SAP.
- A proactive, self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous learning.
