External Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Spearhead and manage all aspects of quality assurance within the manufacturing process, ensuring alignment with CEAT's stringent quality standards and customer expectations.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality control procedures and protocols to enhance product quality and minimize defects.
• Conduct rigorous audits and inspections of raw materials, production processes, and finished products to identify and rectify any deviations from established standards.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and RandD, to proactively address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and generate comprehensive reports to provide insights and recommendations for enhancing product quality and manufacturing processes.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to ensure CEAT remains at the forefront of quality assurance.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

Special Requirement:

• Essential: Proven experience in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment, preferably within the tyre or automotive industry.
• Desirable: In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, statistical process control, and root cause analysis methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a keen eye for detail and a results-oriented approach.
