JOB DUTIES

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Contracts & Claims Engineer with over 10 years of expertise in handling FIDIC-based contracts, contract administration, and claims management. The ideal candidate will have a strong civil engineering background and be responsible for managing contractual issues, preparing claims, and ensuring compliance with project-specific contractual obligations.

Key Accountabilities

Duty Statements

 Detail Engineering:

1. Review, interpret, and administer contract terms and conditions (primarily FIDIC-based).
2. Handle pre- and post-award contract administration activities.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate contractual documents including subcontracts, variations, extensions of time (EOT), and claims.
4. Prepare and evaluate contractual claims related to time, cost, and scope changes.
5. Maintain records and documentation for all contractual correspondences and claims.
6. Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely identification and resolution of contractual risks or disputes.
7. Advise project managers and stakeholders on contractual rights, obligations, and remedies.
8. Interface with legal and commercial teams for dispute resolution and arbitration matters.
9. Monitor contract compliance and assist in audits or contractual reporting.
