Manager - Civil

Job Purpose

To lead and manage civil execution activities for wind power projects, ensuring timely project completion, quality compliance, safety adherence, contractor management, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end civil execution activities for wind power projects at site.
• Plan, monitor, and supervise civil construction activities including foundations, roads, drainage, crane pads, and associated infrastructure.
• Ensure execution as per approved drawings, technical specifications, project schedules, and quality standards.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and site teams for smooth project execution.
• Monitor project timelines, site progress, manpower deployment, and resource utilization.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, logistics, and project management teams for integrated execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and organizational policies.
• Review and approve contractor bills, measurements, BOQs, and material reconciliation.
• Identify project risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct site inspections, progress reviews, audits, and stakeholder meetings.
• Prepare and present project status reports to management.
• Ensure timely closure of site issues and support successful commissioning and handover activities.
