Role Objective
The Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment for Business Operations SBU, with a key focus on Procurement and Design functions. The role involves partnering closely with stakeholders to deliver timely, quality hires while driving process efficiency and talent pipeline development.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Hiring
- Manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle across levels.
- Handle hiring for roles such as Procurement Engineers, SCM Professionals, Buyers, Design Engineers, Lead Designers, Coordinators, and niche positions as per business needs.
- Understand technical requirements and translate them into effective sourcing strategies and job descriptions.
- Drive volume, lateral, and critical niche hiring within defined TATs.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with Business Heads, Hiring Managers, and HRBP teams to understand workforce plans and priorities.
- Conduct regular hiring reviews, provide market insights, and advise on talent availability and feasibility.
- Ensure hiring alignment with project timelines and organizational goals.
Sourcing & Market Mapping
- Develop strong talent pipelines through job portals, LinkedIn, direct sourcing, referrals, vendors, campus hiring, and networking.
- Lead market mapping for critical and hard-to-fill Procurement and Design roles.
- Reduce dependency on vendors through proactive direct sourcing initiatives.
Interview Coordination & Offer Management
- Coordinate and manage interview schedules, feedback, and candidate communication.
- Conduct initial screening and competency-based interviews where applicable.
- Handle offer formulation, negotiation, release, and candidate closure while ensuring internal parity and approval compliance.
Process & Compliance
- Maintain accurate recruitment MIS, trackers, and dashboards for management reporting.
- Ensure adherence to company hiring policies, approval matrices, and audit requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance candidate experience and reduce TAT.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Any Graduate with MBA / PGDM in HR or relevant specialization. Strong experience in Procurement and Design recruitment (EPC / Manufacturing / Infrastructure preferred).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Sound understanding of technical skill sets
- Data-driven approach with strong MIS and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
- Strong negotiation, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Industry Background
- EPC, Infrastructure, Power, Manufacturing, Engineering Services, or Design Consulting firms.
