JOB DUTIES

Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for detail-oriented Associate – ESG Procurement to support sustainability-driven procurement operations. The role involves managing ESG-related procurement data, scrap management processes, vendor assignment, and RFQ/RFQ management while ensuring compliance with ESG standards and internal procurement policies.

  • Assist in implementing ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) practices within procurement activities.
  • Track and monitor supplier compliance with ESG standards and sustainability initiatives.
  • Support ESG reporting by maintaining procurement-related sustainability data.
  • Maintain and update procurement databases, vendor records, and ESG documentation.
  • Generate procurement and ESG-related reports and dashboards.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across procurement systems.
  • Manage scrap disposal processes in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate with scrap vendors for collection, valuation, and disposal.
  • Maintain documentation for scrap generation, disposal, and revenue tracking.
  • Assist in onboarding and assigning vendors based on procurement requirements and ESG compliance.
  • Maintain vendors master data and track vendor performance.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders for vendor allocation and issue resolution.
  • Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs to vendors.
  • Collect, evaluate, and compile vendor quotations.
  • Support comparative analysis and vendor selection in coordination with procurement managers.
  • Ensure procurement activities adhere to ESG guidelines, internal procurement policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain records for audits, compliance reviews, and sustainability reporting.

 

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Experience:  4–6 years of experience in procurement, preferably with ESG or sustainability exposure.

Special Requirements (If any):  

Experience in Corporate EHS Function
