External Job Description
1. Total Rewards Strategy & Execution
Partner with HR Head and Group C&B to co-develop the annual C&B strategy aligned with business priorities.
Translate strategy into operational plans, ensuring timely execution of key initiatives across compensation, benefits, and recognition.
2. Annual Compensation Planning
Lead end-to-end management of the annual salary review, bonus, promotions, and long-term incentive cycles.
Create compensation budgets and manage review processes using planning tools or HCM platforms (e.g., SuccessFactors, SAP).
3. Compensation Benchmarking
Liaise with the Group C&B for compensation benchmarking using market survey data from Mercer, Aon, or similar firms.
Analyze internal vs. external competitiveness by job family and propose adjustments.
Maintain and update salary bands, pay mix frameworks, and internal parity metrics.
4. Rewards & Recognition Programs
Design, implement, and evaluate enterprise-wide recognition programs including spot awards, performance awards, and non-monetary recognition.
Build recognition frameworks tied to culture, values, and employee engagement metrics.
5. Benefits Management
Oversee the benefits portfolio including health insurance, retirement schemes, wellness initiatives, and flexible benefits.
Benchmark benefit offerings against industry standards and propose changes to drive employee value.
Ensure statutory and compliance adherence in all benefit-related policies.
6. Policy Benchmarking, Harmonization & Design
Lead regular benchmarking of C&B and HR policies against market practices and Group-level guidelines.
Identify areas for harmonization across grades, business units, or geographies to ensure internal equity and policy consistency.
Design or revise HR policies (leave, travel, incentives, variable pay, etc.) to align with business needs, compliance standards, and employee expectations.
Collaborate with legal and audit teams to ensure governance, documentation, and communication of all policies.
7. HR Analytics & Reporting
Develop reports and dashboards on compensation trends, internal equity, cost-to-company analytics, and benefits usage.
Provide actionable insights to senior management to inform strategic decisions and monitor progress.
8. Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure full compliance with internal audit standards, legal requirements, and RPG Group norms.
Drive internal audits and proactively address compensation and benefit-related risks.
Maintain confidentiality and data security in handling employee compensation records.
9. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Work cross-functionally with HRBPs, Finance, and Group C&B teams to align initiatives and ensure successful execution.
Act as a compensation consultant to internal stakeholders, providing strategic advice and support for people-related decisions.
