Role Manager – ELP Cell
Reporting to - GM - HR
Job Summary The incumbent will be responsible for partnering with the Engineering Leadership
Program (ELP) talent pool and business leaders to drive the employee lifecycle,
talent management, career progression, engagement, and retention of ELP
participants. The role will act as a dedicated HR Business Partner for high-potential
engineering talent, ensuring a structured development journey and creating a robust
leadership pipeline for the organization.
Responsibilities • HR Business Partnering
o Serve as the primary HR point of contact for trainees in the Engineering
Leadership Program.
o Partner with business leaders, functional heads, and program
stakeholders to ensure effective deployment and development of ELP
talent.
o Facilitate seamless employee integration across functions, projects,
and locations.
• Talent Management & Career Development
o Design and manage the 3 to 5-year career progression framework for
ELP participants.
o Monitor individual development plans, learning milestones, role
rotations, and readiness for future roles.
o Conduct periodic talent reviews and succession planning discussions
for ELP talent.
o Identify high-potential employees and recommend development
interventions to accelerate growth.
• Employee Engagement & Retention
o Drive engagement initiatives to enhance employee experience and
retention within the ELP cohort.
o Conduct regular connect sessions, pulse checks, and feedback
discussions.
o Track employee sentiment and proactively address concerns impacting
engagement and productivity.
o Support the creation of a strong ELP alumni and networking culture
within the organization.
• Employee Relations & Grievance Management
o Act as a trusted advisor for ELP employees on workplace concerns and
career-related discussions.
o Manage employee grievances, conflicts, and escalations in a timely and
confidential manner.
o Facilitate resolution of employee issues through collaboration with
business leaders and HR teams.
o Ensure adherence to organizational policies and employee relations
best practices.
• Performance & Development
o Support performance management processes for ELP employees,
including goal setting, reviews, and development planning.
o Partner with Learning & Development teams to identify capabilitybuilding
requirements.
o Track progress against development objectives and recommend
interventions where required.
• Program Governance & Analytics
o Maintain ELP employee records, movement history, development
milestones, and career progression plans.
o Prepare dashboards and reports on key metrics such as retention,
engagement, internal movements, performance, and talent readiness.
o Provide insights and recommendations to leadership for strengthening
the Engineering Leadership Program.
Qualification MBA in HR from Tier 1 / Tier 2 - B-school is required
Experience • 5–8 years of experience in HR Business Partnering, Talent Management,
Leadership Development, or Employee Relations.
• Experience working with graduate trainee, leadership development,
management trainee, or high-potential talent programs will be preferred.
• Exposure to engineering, manufacturing, EPC, infrastructure, or project-based
organizations will be an advantage.
