External Job Description

Summary: The Candidate shall be responsible for the  tender and detailed design of Electrical Services for various projects across KEC International. 

Experience required: 7-15 Years of Tender and detailed design of Electrical services, especially in complex functional requirements viz, Data Centers, Airports, Industrial, residential and commercial projects, etc.

Key Skills:    
1.    Candidate must have skills in detail design for green field and brown field project. 
2.    Candidate should be able to manage and work on multiple projects and tender simultaneously. 
3.    Candidate must have experience in Electrical Detail design, electrical calculations for diversified projects like Data center, Residential and commercial buildings, etc. 
4.    Demonstrated proficiency in Electrical design software’s like ETAP, Dia lux, AutoCad and other software’s like Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
5.    Ability to work effectively in a team-based, fast-paced environment, especially coordinating with site team, consultant, Architectural and Structural team. 
6.    Ability to optimize designs with a creative and innovative approaches. 
7.    Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skill.

Key Responsibilities:    
1.    Should be able to prepare SLD, Equipment Layout as per NBC/CEIG/Electricity rule/ GRIHA/ IGBC/IEC/IS, 
2.    Should be able to prepare detail layout drawings for cable tray, earthing layout, Load list with load balancing, fault calculation, voltage drop calculation, lux calculation, LPS design, cable routing, lighting, and power layout drawing, etc.
3.    Preparation of Electrical detail GFC design independently as per project requirements and adhering to various codes (national and international).
4.    Preparation of DBR, technical specification, BOQ, RFQ, make list, etc.
5.    Able to perform Load flow analysis, discrimination study, arc flash study, relay setting on ETAP or equivalent software. 
6.    Able to perform lux calculation on Dia lux or equivalent software. 
7.    Able to develop detail design on BIM/Revit with the help of BIM/Revit modeler.
8.    Prepare shop drawing/ construction drawing in conjunction with the Architectural, Structural and Mechanical drawings to ensure engineering coordination. 
9.    Technical evaluation of Electrical Equipment’s for project and tenders. 
10.    Undertake a prior review of the proposed Electrical system testing & commissioning methods and schedule
