Summary:

 

This position will be responsible for continuous improvement in Quality and drive across all SBU, Sites and factory. Will report to GM Quality.

Mumbai

Pre-Requisite:

Need to have at least 15 years’ experience in Quality & Cont. improvement of large multinational Engineering companies like ABB/Siemens/GE/Alstom/Technip/Schneider/Thales/L&T etc.

Or from big EPC company with required qualification.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work with Procurement team and identify improvement projects e.g. SQ, PQ, performance monitoring process and cost saving projects.
  2. Work with Factory team to identify projects for efficiency improvement and zero errors and zero site complaint e.g. Process capability, Machine capability, AQM, PGF, CPK, PPK, R&R, FMEA, DMAIC, 8D, PDCA, MSA, SPC, Poka-yoke etc. Also cost saving projects with proper use of tools.
  3. Work with project team, Sites, CPMG, Project academy to identify improvement projects by use of DMAIC, PDCA, 8D, LL, COPQ, CS and work on digitization, mechanization to improve Quality across project cycle and at Sites for construction quality improvement.
  4. Analyze issues thoroughly by study of data and use of advance Quality tools to improve Quality of construction aiming right first time, zero customer complaint at all sites.
  5. Analysis of Quality documentation and traceability process across KEC.
  6. Work with Engineering team to analyze NCs and improvement programs.

Required qualification:

B. Tech. (Civil/ Mechanical/Metallurgy/Electrical), Black Belt certified (minimum 20 completed projects with cost saving data).

M. Tech. or MBA may be added advantage.

Experience required:

15 years in Quality & Continuous improvement (after B.Tech.) Minimum 5 years after Blackbelt.

Minimum 20 DMAIC or black belt projects.
