Regional Medical Advisor

Position Summary:

The Regional Medical Advisor (RMA) serves as the scientific and clinical expert for assigned therapeutic areas in a designated geographic region. The RMA acts as a bridge between the company and the medical community, engaging with healthcare professionals (HCPs), providing medical support to internal teams, and ensuring the safe and effective use of the company’s products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Scientific Exchange & External Engagement:

• Establish and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and academic institutions.

• Present scientific and clinical data in a balanced and non-promotional manner.

• Serve as a medical resource for unsolicited medical information requests.

2. Medical Education & Support:

• Support and participate in medical education programs (e.g., advisory boards, speaker training, symposia).

• Assist in the development and review of scientific materials used for medical education or HCP engagement.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, and Market Access teams to provide medical insights and training.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of medical strategies in alignment with corporate objectives.

4. Clinical Trials & Research:

• Support company-sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical trials by identifying potential investigators and sites, assisting in study execution, and monitoring data quality.

• Facilitate the dissemination of research findings and scientific publications.

5. Compliance & Reporting:

• Ensure all activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and company policies.

• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of field activities in appropriate systems.
