Role Overview
The Senior Associate – Talent Acquisition will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment for technical and non-technical roles within the construction sector. The role requires expertise in sourcing niche talent (e.g., project managers, site engineers, QS, safety professionals) and hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors for recruitment lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage full-cycle recruitment: requisition intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding
• Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements for ongoing and upcoming construction projects
• Source candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, and industry networks
• Build talent pipelines for critical roles such as civil engineers, MEP specialists, project planners, and site supervisors
• Utilize SAP SuccessFactors for:
o Job requisition creation and approvals
o Candidate tracking and workflow management
o Interview scheduling and feedback tracking
o Offer management and onboarding coordination
• Ensure timely closure of positions within defined TAT and budget
• Conduct initial HR screenings and coordinate technical interviews
• Maintain and update candidate databases and recruitment dashboards
• Ensure compliance with company policies and hiring standards
• Support employer branding initiatives specific to the construction industry
• Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and offer acceptance ratio
Key Requirements
• MBA in Human Resources or related field (mandatory)
• 6–10 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in construction, EPC, or infrastructure sectors
• Hands-on experience working with SAP SuccessFactors (Recruitment/Onboarding modules preferred)
• Strong understanding of construction roles and project-based hiring
• Experience in bulk hiring and niche/critical role hiring
• Familiarity with job portals (e.g., Naukri, LinkedIn) and sourcing techniques
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Skills
• Experience hiring for large-scale infrastructure or real estate projects
• Knowledge of labor laws and hiring compliance in India
• Strong data tracking and reporting skills within SAP SuccessFactors
• Experience with campus hiring and vendor management
